African Gold

De nail of the day (NOTD) is vandaag een licht goud kleurige basis met donker bruine drie- of vierhoeken die ik ¨African Gold¨ heb genoemd.

The nail of the day today is a light golden base with dark brown triangles or quadrangles that I called ¨African Gold¨.

Als basiskleur heb ik dus een licht goudkleurige lak gebruikt van Manhatten. Deze glanst heel mooi zoals je op de onderstaande foto kan zien.

As a base I used a light golden nail polish from Manhatten. This polish really shines beautiful as you can see in the photo below.



Hierna heb ik de Big plate SdP-A van Dashica beauty gebruikt om er een africaans plaatje op te stempelen. Het resultaat zien jullie hieronder. Klaar!

Hallo!
Ik ben zaterdag gaan shoppen en was op zoek naar koopjes.
Tot mijn verbazing waren er ook leuke kortingen bij kruidvat.
Er waren een aantal lakjes van Catrice waarop er 50% korting was.
Ik was blij want er waren nog een aantal kleurtjes van de collectie die ik nog niet had! :)
Deze korting is er omdat Catrice weer met aantal nieuwe kleurtjes komt in februari.

De middelste is : Ultimate Nudes 060  Mona Lisa Is Staring Back, dit is een nude kleurtje met fijne glittertjes. En de laatste is : 660 I'm A Star... , dit is een goud lakje met glitters.

First I'm going to introduce you my new colours from Catrice.

The first one from the left : 480 Miss Piggy Reloaded, this is a lovely soft pink colour.

The central one : Ultimate Nudes 060 Mona Lisa Is Staring Back, this is a nude colour with little glitters.

And the last one : 660 I'm A Star... , this is a gold polish with glitters.

Vandaag laat ik mijn Minnie Mani of Minnie Mouse manicure zien.
Today I'll show you my Minnie Mani or Minnie Mouse manicure.

Zoals jullie zullen zien heb ik op elke nagel een ander motiefje, hieronder leg ik uit wat ik gebruikt heb en hoe ik het gemaakt heb.

Nagel 1 - Nail 1

Als basis heb ik een zwarte kleur van Max (uit de Action) aangebracht. Na goed drogen heb ik 2 kleine en 2 grotere bloemetjes er een voor een op gestempeld met de witte Essence stempelnagellak. De bloemetjes komen van de Big SdP-E plaat van Dashica.

As a base I used a black colour from Max (from Action). After drying I stamped 2 little and 2 bigger flowers one by one with the white Essence stamping polish . The flowers are from the Big SdP-E plate from Dashica.



Nagel 2 - Nail 2

Als basis heb ik een huidskleurig lakje van Max gebruikt. Dan heb ik 2 strikjes met de zwarte Essence stempelnagellak gestempeld. De strikjes komen van een zogenaamd "fauxnad" plaatje (van ebay) met het nummer m08.

As a base I used a skin coloured nail polish from Max. Then I stamped 2 bows with the black Essence stamping polish . The bows are from a so called "fauxnad" plate (from ebay) with the number m08.

Nagel 3 - Nail 3

Als basis heb ik een rode kleur van Essence gebruikt. Dan heb ik een zwarte bloem gestempeld met de zwarte Essence stempelnagellak. De bloem komt eveneens van de Big SdP-E plaat van Dashica.
Tenslotte heb ik met een dotting tool allemaal stipjes gezet, ook in het midden van de bloem, met de witte Catrice nagellak.

As a base I used a red colour from Essence. Then I stamped a black flower with the black Essence stamping polish . The flower also comes from the Big SdP-E plate from Dashica. Finally I made dots with a dotting tool, also in the middle of the flower, with the white Catrice nail polish.



 Nagel 4 - Nail 4

Als basis heb ik een huidskleurig lakje van Max gebruikt. Dan heb ik Minnie Mouse met de zwarte Essence stempelnagellak gestempeld. Dit leuke figuurtje komt van Dashica: plaatje SdP-16.

As a base I used a skin coloured nail polish from Max. Then I stamped Minnie Mouse with the black Essence stamping polish . This lovely image comes from Dashica: plate SdP-16.

Nagel 5 - Nail 5

Als basis heb ik een rode kleur van Essence gebruikt. Vervolgens heb ik er 2 bloemetjes op gestempeld met de witte Essence stempelnagellak. De bloemetjes komen weer van de Big SdP-E plaat van Dashica.

As a base I used a red colour from Essence. Then I stamped 2 flowers with the white Essence stamping polish . The flowers are also from the Big SdP-E plate from Dashica.

De schattige strikjes van  / The cute bows from Lady Gaga

Bekend aan Lady Gaga zijn natuurlijk haar 'adorable' strikjes. Ze draagt ze in kleedjes, haren en ook haar NAGELS. Deze strikjes zijn zo te zien met acryl gemaakt. Je kan ze op internet kopen of je kan ze zelf maken, maar daarvoor moet je wel de juiste benodigdheden hebben. Tik maar eens bij google afbeeldingen "acryl mold nails" in dan zie je een heleboel voorbeelden. Zelf hebben we nog nooit acryl vormpjes gebruikt omdat we het persoonlijk niet zo heel mooi vinden. Acryl vormpjes geven een 3D effect.

Famous about Lady gaga are her 'adorable' bows. She wears it in her clothes, hair and also her NAILS. These bows are apparently made with acryl. You can buy them on the internet or you can DIY (do it yourself) if you have al the necessary materials. Just typ on google images "acryl mold nails" and you will find a lot of examples. We never have tried acrylic forms because we don't think it's that beautifull. Acrylic forms create a 3D effect.

De Knalrode nagellak/ The intense red nailpolish

Deze nagels droeg de beroemde ster wanneer ze op stap ging. Fel rode nagels met een aantal zwarte steentjes is een typische stijl van Lady Gaga.

Ze heeft hier een puntige nagelvorm gekozen. Achteraan de nagel heeft ze een stukje kant erop.

Vrouwelijk en stoer tergelijk!

The famous singer wore these nails when she went out. Intense red nails with a few black stones are typical for Lady Gaga. She's got a pointy nail form here. On the back of the nail she's got a piece of lace on it.

Het schaakbord patroon/ The chessboard pattern

Deze nagels zijn één van de nagels die ze draagt in haar clip 'Pokerface'.

Ik vind deze nail-art simpel maar toch zeer mooi! De kleuren zijn goud-bruin met zwart.

These nails are one of the nails that she is wearing in her clip 'Pokerface'.

I think this nail-art is simple and also beautiful! The colours are gold-brown with black.

The pokerface nails

Deze nagels zijn met veel steentjes gemaakt en komen ook uit de clip 'Pokerface'. Ze heeft haar naam er ook in steentjes op staan.

These nails are made with a lot of stones and is also seen in the clip 'Pokerface'. She has also got her name in written on her nails with these stones.

Paparazzi nails

In de paparazzi clip van de zangeres draagt ze deze zwarte nagels met op haar middelvinger en op haar duim haar gezicht getekent en op de ringvinger de helft bedekt met diamantjes. Lady Gaga is altijd creatief geweest en dat kan je ook op deze nagels zien. Go Gaga!

Zet met de dikste dottingtool een stip. Deze wordt het midden van de bloem.
Place a dot with the big dottingtool. This is the middle of the flower.


Plaats dan met de kleinere dottingtool kleinere stipjes rondom de dikkere stip. Dit zijn de bloemblaadjes.
Place with the small dotting tool dots around the first dot. These are the flower leafs.

Zet met de dikke dottingtool zwarte stippen en laat wat drogen. Zet daarna met een dunne dottingtool witte stippen midden in de zwarte stippen. Klaar!

Example 3

- a small and big dotting tool


Place black dots with the big dotting tool and let dry. Then place white dots with the smal dotting tool in the black dots. Ready!



Voorbeeld 4
Gebruikte materialen en nagellak:
- Max dnc 9 black
- SinfulColors 101 Snow me white
- een dunne en een dikke dottingtool

Zet met de dikke dottingtool witte stippen en laat wat drogen. Zet daarna met een dunnere dottingtool zwarte stippen midden in de witte stippen. Klaar!

Example 4

- SinfulColors 101 Snow me white
- a small and big dotting tool


Place white dots with the big dotting tool and let dry. Then place black dots with the small dotting tool in the white dots. Ready!

Zet met de dikke dottingtool 4 stippen kort bij elkaar, dit zijn de bloemblaadjes. Laat drogen.
Place 4 dots close to each other with the big dotting tool, these are the flower leafs. Let it dry.



Trek met het penseel 2 lijnen als steel en zet met de dunne dottingtool 3 stipjes in de blauwe bloemblaadjes. Klaar!
Make 2 lines with the paint brush as flowerstalks and place 3 dots with the small dotting tool in the blue flower leafs. Ready!

Lak een schuin gedeelte van de nagel blauw.
Polish a diagonal part of the nail with blue nail polish.


Trek een scheidingslijn met het penseel (met Manhatten 96D).  Gebruik de dottingtool om stippen te zetten op het blauwe gedeelte (met esssence 06 flying higher).
Draw a separation line with the paint brush (with colour Manhatten 96D). Use a dotting tool to place dots on the blue part (with essence 06 flying higher).

Vandaag een review over de nagelhuid peeling stift van Rival de Loop.
We hebben deze uitgetest en hieronder lees je wat we ervan vinden.

Today a review about the nail skin peel pen from Rival de Loop.
We tested the pen and below you can find out what we think.



Eerst misschien even toelichten wat er allemaal in de stift aanwezig is, de ingrediënten:

- Bamboe extracten
- Zonnebloemolie
- Vitamine E
- Kleine peelingkorrels

First maybe explain what's in the pen, the ingredients:
- Bamboo extracts
- Sunflower oil
- Vitamin E
- Little peeling grains


Hoe werkt het?
Net zoals een gewone huidpeeling is het de bedoeling dat de oude oppervlakkige huidcellen verwijderd worden en nieuwe jonge huidcellen aan de oppervlakte komen zodat de huid er zacht en egaal gaat uitzien. Een peeling is vooral geschikt voor plaatsen waar de huid vrij dun is, bijv. de nagelriemen.

How does it work?
Just like an ordinary skin peeling, it's the intention that old surface skin cells are removed and new, young skin cells come to the surface so that the skin will be soft and smooth. A peeling is especially suitable for places where the skin is quite thin, for example the cuticles.


Hoe gebruik je de stift?
How do you use the pen?
- Vingers met water wassen
   Wash the fingers with water
- Bovenaan wat draaien zodat er onderaan (massagekop uit rubber) vloeistof uitkomt
   Turn the top so that liquid comes out below (massage head from rubber)

- Met de massagekop de peelingvloeistof in de nagelhuid (nagelriem) masseren.
   Massage the peeling liquid with the massage head in the nail skin (cuticles).

- Klaar: een  perfect onderhouden nagelhuid! Het resultaat zie je hieronder.
   Ready: perfect maintained nail skin! The result you can see below.

Conclusie:
De nagelhuid peel stift van Rival de Loop werkt goed, pikt niet en ruikt bovendien lekker. Het is gemakkelijk te gebruiken en er is resultaat. De peeling pen is ook niet duur: slechts 1,79 euro.
Dus zeker de moeite waard om het eens te proberen!

Conclusion:
The nail skin peel pen from Rival de Loop works good, doesn't hurt and smells great. It's easy to use and you can see the result. The peeling pen is also cheap: only 1,79 euro.
So definitively worth it to give it a try!

vandaag iets over ... juist: dots, stippen en puntjes!
Ik wil aantonen dat nail art heel mooi en ook heel gemakkelijk kan zijn. Bovendien hoeft het helemaal niet duur te zijn want al heb je geen zogenaamde "dotting tools", ik zal jullie laten zien dat iedereen heel gemakkelijk stippen kan maken met wat er thuis aanwezig is.

Wat kan je gebruiken om stippen te maken?
- een dotting tool (3)
- het borsteltje van de nagellak (10)
- een tandenstoker (6)
- een satéprikker of satéstokje (1)
- het stokje van een penseel (2)
- een wattenstokje (5)
- een paperclip (8)
- een puch pin (9)

Hoe stippen maken?
Het gemakkelijkste is een bakje, een oud dekseltje of iets dergelijks te gebruiken. Ik gebruik meestal een plastic dekseltje van een doosje waar nepnagels hebben ingezeten (van de action).
Hierop laat je een druppel nagellak vallen waarmee je wilt gaat werken.
Dan dip je de dottingtool (of een andere tool) in de nagellak en kan je beginnen met stippen of puntjes zetten.

Gemakkelijk, toch?

I want to show that nail art can be very beautiful and also very easy. Besides it doesn't have to be expensive at all because even if you don't have a so called "dotting tool", I'll show you that everybody can make dots easily with different things present at home.

What can you use to make dots?
- a dotting tool (3)
- a nail polish brush (10)
- a toothpick (6)
- a wooden skewer (1)
- a brush stick (2)
- a cotton stick (5)
- a paper clip (8)
- a puch pin (9)
- a nail art pen (4)
- a head pin (7)
- ...



How to make dots?
The easiest way is to use a tray, an old lid or something like that. I usually use a plastic lid from a little box in which fake nails were packed (from action).
On this let fall a drop of nail polish you want to work with.
Then dip the dotting tool (or another tool) in the drop of nail polish and start dotting.
Easy, right?
